As of May 1st, new in-branch fraud protection will be available.

MountainCrest Credit Union understands it's crucial to help protect you from account takeover fraud. That's why we are introducing a new ID proofing measure for in person Shared Branching visits. This new fraud prevention measure allows us to make certain it is YOU trying to access your account, not an imposter.

For out of state Shared Branching transactions, members will be required to follow the steps below to complete the verification process.

This is ONLY required for in-person withdrawals of any kind, with out of state identification.

How it works:

  • Scan the QR code located in the branch
  • Select your credit union’s name from a drop-down list
  • Enter your member number and the last four digits of your social security number
  • Upload a photo of your ID
  • Take a selfie

Tip: Save your validation for an even quicker experience next time!

Show your one-time passcode to the teller (passcode is valid for 20 minutes).
